7 September, 2026

John Drew has joined Good Faith as its new Managing Director.

John Drew’s appointment comes at an important stage in Good Faith’s development, coinciding with the launch of its new brand and marking ten years of delivering projects for social good. Good Faith aims to bring people together to create solutions to society’s toughest problems. Its work spans advisory and consultancy services, innovation programmes, and the incubation of initiatives tackling urgent social challenges, including loneliness and the cost-of-living crisis.

“I’m delighted to announce John Drew’s appointment as Good Faith’s new Managing Director. John is an outstanding and accomplished senior leader with the knowledge, vision and ambition to join our leadership team and play a key role in delivering Good Faith’s vision and developing our long-term strategy. Our work is all about building trust, inspiring action and creating change. John’s experience of growing advisory and consulting services across the public, charitable and faith sectors and his leadership style and values are a perfect fit with our vision, purpose and values.”

John is a Senior Executive and Managing Director-level leader with over 30 years’ experience growing advisory and consulting services across the public, charitable and faith sectors. John is a former Partner at McKinsey & Company and previously a director at NHS England with national responsibility for staff experience and engagement during the Covid pandemic. He has a strong track record in business development, client leadership, team building and delivery of measurable impact at scale.

John Drew is a trustee for the Samaritans and has previously been a trustee at the National Churches Trust, where he oversaw the development of the House of Good report into the value of the social action undertaken through churches in the UK.

“It’s a privilege to be appointed into this new role of Managing Director. I have been impressed by Good Faith’s work in mobilising civil society, the faith sector and businesses as a force for good in tackling some of society’s most intractable problems, and very much believe that there is lots of potential to build on this track record and experience. Local civil society and faith communities have a distinctive contribution to make, given they often have the motivation, capabilities and network of relationships to help meet the needs which other agencies might struggle to do on their own and to do so economically. I very much look forward to joining the team and doing what I can to help.”
