As the UK looked to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, Faith in Communities worked to build more effective, impactful partnerships between government and the UK’s faith communities. The project’s Stepping Up, Stepping Out report was launched with the Bishop of London and the Minister for Faith in June 2021, setting out the current and future role of faith groups working with vulnerable communities, and recommending how government can better harness and amplify their impact, from mental wellbeing support to employment and debt advice.
