Dare To Overcome London 2026

27 October, 2026

In October 2026, the Good Faith Partnership worked closely with Brian J Grim, president and founder of the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation, to bring a week-long conference to London for the first time.

Dare To Overcome was staged at various venues in the City of London and at Lambeth Palace from 12 to 16 October.

The conference brought together senior business leaders, investors, policymakers, academics and faith communities committed to building peace and human flourishing through values-driven leadership, inclusive workplaces, economic opportunity and respect for human dignity.

The week began with a Parliamentary reception at the House of Commons, recognising past winners of the King Husein Global Business & Interfaith Peace Award. The event was sponsored by Tom Collins MP and Rebecca Smith MP. Tom is MP for Worcester and a member of the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee. Rebecca is MP for South West Devon and a Shadow Education Minister.

On Tuesday 13 October, we helped organise a Gala Dinner for 200 guests at Mansion House in the City of London, hosted by the Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley.

On Friday 16 October, Good Faith collaborated with the London School of Economics to hold a day-long focus on AI, faith and work.

The Rt Hon Jonathan Reynolds MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, sent a personal message to the Dare To Overcome conference: “I am pleased to send my best wishes to everyone taking part in Dare to Overcome.

“I welcome the continuing engagement of the Faith At Work and Dare to Overcome networks, bringing together leaders from business, investment, technology, faith communities and civil society. I look forward to continuing that engagement as the United Kingdom prepares to host the G20 next year, and welcome Dare to Overcome’s support in helping ensure that conversations about growth, innovation and new technology remain connected to human dignity, responsible leadership and human flourishing. My congratulations to everyone convening and participating in this important gathering.”

Dare To Overcome has previously been held in Rio de Janeiro, South Korea, Washington D.C, New Delhi and Tokyo.

Dare to Overcome was delivered as part of Good Faith’s partnership with Free For All. Free For All is a charity and collective impact initiative building on the success of the UK FoRB Forum (UKFF) and Faith at Work coalition (FAW) that exists to promote Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) as a fundamental right serving the common good globally, Good Faith is providing secretariat services to the charity during its initial three-year set up phase.
