Good Faith solutions evidenced in refugee integration report

On 20 March 2024 the Commission on the Integration of Refugees produced the most significant study into refugee integration in a generation, with support from Good Faith Partnership among others.

The Commission on the Integration of Refugees is convened by the Woolf Institute and brings together significant voices from across the political spectrum to consider migration and refugees.

Good Faith Partnership was asked by the Commission to produce two reports, one looking at asylum reform initiatives over the past 25 years and the other looking at international examples of good practice on refugee integration.

These reports have formed crucial foundations for the Commission’s work and recommendations. Evidence of Good Faith’s practical work on refugee integration is visible in the recommendations, for example in the Commission’s proposal to expand Welcome Hubs across the country, and also the idea of local leaders such as mayors playing a key role in making progress on this issue.

Good Faith Partner David Barclay said: “We’ve been delighted to be a close partner to the Commission since its inception over two years ago. The launch of the Commission’s work is a significant moment and opportunity for radical change in what everyone can see is a fundamentally broken system. We stand ready to work with partners of all kinds to see these recommendations come to life and improve outcomes for refugees and for communities across the UK.”
